2005 is when Digs was born at the Samsung Plaza on Keeaumoku St. Our goal when we first started was to provide streetwear that was cross promoted with the events that we produced. At our very humble store we opened we were able to have artist such as: Slum Village, The Roots, Souls of Mischief, Jurassic 5 and Dilated Peoples do instore signings for our customers that visited our store. We stayed there for a few years and moved to Ward Warehouse where we were able to secure a larger store front and started to concentrate more on our personal label as well as open our doors to a larger stock list of vendors at our store. The Ward store was fortunate to host memorable events. Mos Def, EPMD, Q Tip, Common, DJ Drama, and Little Brother all rolled through the shop and signed autographs for fans. Unfortunately we had to close the doors there after a few years and we took a break from clothing while still doing concerts strong. We relaunched our label in 2013 and with the help of a few key retailers and artists were able to kick start the label to what you see today. 2015 will be our 10 year anniversary and will have some special events and drops to commemorate the label. Stay Tuned!
